THE MCCARTHY FAMILY consists of Kari from Norway, Brendan from South Africa and their three daughters Celina, Alena and Alisa born in Norway and Switzerland. Kari and Brendan met in Norway in the year 1993 and were married after two years. Kari is a singer and is educated as a music and drama teacher. Brendan is a guitarist, multinstrumentalist and a singer. Together with their daughters they produce shows, songs, instrumentals, videos and other forms of multimedia. Their home is in Switzerland and for many years they have performed around Switzerland and Europe in churches concerts, restaurants hotels etc. Kari is also a music and drama teacher in the local schools in the area in which they live.

The Producers

In 2008 Brendan met with ex Hope Channel president Brad Thorp in Romania to discuss the possibility of producing the childrens series Lutti and Tutti and the go ahead was given to produce 24 programs. The three daughters are all talented and had a tremendous amount to do with regards to the production of this mammoth work and it took almost 12 years to complete. It took many years because it was impossible to work full time on the project and a living had to be made during the same period.

We are all rather happy that the Lord has used the talents he gave us to write, produce, film a project that can help our little ones realize how Jesus is our friend and is there if we call out to him. There is far to much artificial magic in the childrens shows of today and the idea was to help them see that a strong belief in a living God is far more important than fantasy and magic which surrounds us everywhere. Many thanks to Hope Channel for trusting in us to produce these programs and most of all to Our Heavenly Father for using us to spread his eternal word. Celina Celina was born in 1996. She did her first performance when she was three yrs old in Zermatt. Since then she has frequently sung with the family on different occasions. She is a great singer and decorates songs with her beautiful harmonys. She also plays the Irish whistle and loves music and is very talented in arranging songs. She is presently studying to be a midwife

Alena Alena was born in1998 and loves to compose songs on the piano. She, like her sisters, is very musical and has a lovely singing voice. She is an important part of the McCarthy family singers. She is also talented in graphics, photography, videography and does the websites and promotion. for the McCarthy’s. She is studying to be a Multimedia design artist

Alisa Alisa was born in 2007.She is a strong addition to the McCarthy family with her violin, dancing , singing, composing and acting. She is hoping to make a profession in this field and composes and arranges her own songs for You tube.
